In 2005 one of our members, Lindsay Davies, painted a beautiful mural on the wall of our front entrance as a gift to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Unfortunately, when the curling club was expanded to 6 sheets our entrance was changed - so this mural no longer exists - but Lindsay has added a new mural.

"Let me take this opportunity to thank the members of the YCC Executive for inviting me to join in the celebration of our clubs 50th Anniversary and mark the event with a mural representative of our great sport of curling through the ages.
It was fun researching the project and I especially would like to thank Marilyn Vian for her vision and encouragement. I am honoured to have done my part when so many others have given so much of their time and talent to the club over the years.
I hope members have as much fun viewing the mural as I had in painting it.
