There is still time to register for the annual Closing Spiel - registration closes on April 1st. You can also signup as a spare.

In club registration: Tues. March 1st 9:30am to 12:00pm and Thurs. March 3rd 6:30pm to 9:00pm

This is an individual entry event and every player is guaranteed 3 games. (further details on the format in this flyer)

Register your team for the challenge to represent YCC in the TRAVELERS Curling Club Championship.

1 Women’s and 1 Men’s team can represent YCC in this OCA competition held in October 2016. Teams must be teams that curl together regularly in a scheduled YCC league.

Women’s teams enter by interest.

Men’s teams eligibility follows:

• Top 4 teams in Tuesday Night Team entry as at the end of draw 4, Mar 8, 2016
• Top team Wednesday afternoon Team entry as at the end of draw 1
• Top team Thursday afternoon Team entry as at the end of draw 1
• Top team Monday evening house as at the end of draw 1
• Top team Thursday evening house as at the end of draw 1

Go to ontcurl.com under competitions to review event specific rules for player eligibility. Challenge playoffs to be held April 2, 2016 and the schedule will be published week of March 21. Challenge follows the OCA single knockout format.

Team Tim Shields scored an 8 Ender during their Thursday night Men's game on October 22nd. "We were down 4 after 6 ends and needing to generate some points. Fortunately, with luck on our side, some great draws and sweeping by the front end, we managed to score 8 in the 7th end, and eventually the win." The team consists of Tim Shields (skip), Gary Miller (Vice), Chris Stafleu (2nd), and Mike Jones (Lead and a first year curler). Congratulations guys!
