winning streak through semis and finals.

This new competition was held March 28-31 in the Collingwood area,

with Stayner, Meaford, Collingwood and Thornbury clubs all taking part.

York Curling Club is so proud of this accomplishment!

An honourable mention also goes out to

JoAnn Inouye, Karen Morrison, Karen Smith, Erika Buhlman and Aileen Filman

York Curling Club is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a

$150,000

grant from the

Ontario Trillium Foundation.

These funds are dedicated to the replacement of our roof over sheets 1-4 and the lounge.

The grant will cover most of the cost to replace the roof.

The new roof will allow us to remove all of the tarps hanging in the ice shed

and ensure years of leak-free curling!

The work will commence in May and is expected to take approximately 3 weeks.

Thank-you to Phil Woodard who took the lead in preparing the grant application

and seeing it through to its successful completion.
